Justin Fields officially inactive for Week 9

Justin Fields (thumb) is officially inactive for Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Impact: Fields won’t play in Week 9 thanks to a thumb injury that he’s managing. He will reportedly have a chance to make his return in Week 10 against the Panthers, but it remains to be seen if that will be the case. Until then, rookie Tyson Bagent will get the start in his absence, which is less than ideal for fantasy options like DJ Moore and Cole Kmet.
