Justin Herbert completed 26 of 34 pass attempts for 279 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday’s win against the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact: Herbert was efficient and effective, spreading the ball to nine different receivers in the contest. It wasn’t the usual suspects who caught touchdowns however. Tight end Gerald Everett, fullback Zander Horvath and wide receiver DeAndre Carter were the three recipients of his touchdown tosses. His usual top targets, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, logged just six receptions for 76 yards between the two of them, and Allen left the game with a hamstring injury. Herbert will be a top option every week, even if Allen misses time. The Chargers will face the Chiefs this Thursday on a short week.
