Justyn Ross has earned the praise of QB Patrick Mahomes who was quoted saying the former Clemson wideout is “a guy that I have a lot of hope for.”
Fantasy Impact: Ross was an UDFA in 2022 for the Chiefs after spending time at Clemson, and after he had some hype around him going into camp last year he received season-ending foot surgery before the preseason began. Now healthy, Ross has been earning first-team reps, and even more importantly he is making a rapport with Mahomes. In a wide-open KC receiver room, Ross has a chance to earn legitimate work in 2023. In deeper leagues, Ross may be worth a late flyer.
