Kayvon Thibodeaux’s initial tests Monday showed a sprained MCL. Although it is expected that he will miss 3-4 weeks, the Giants are hopeful that he can return for the Week 1 opener vs Tennessee.
Fantasy Impact: Considering how the injury to Thibodeaux’s knee looked after the cut block Sunday night, this is great news. His ACL and meniscus are intact and the MCL should only keep him out a month at the most. While it is unlikely he makes his NFL debut in Week 1, it is possible that his rehab allows him to be an option for the Giants in Week 2.
