Keenan Allen “wants to see how he feels before making a final decision,” according to Adam Schefter. However, Schefter notes that with the Chargers’ bye week imminent the team may err on the side of caution with their star wideout, putting his status for Week 7 very much in doubt.
Fantasy Impact: Allen has been dealing with a hamstring injury since Week 1, and fantasy managers may have to wait until after the Chargers’ bye week to plug the veteran wide receiver back into their lineups. Schefter’s tweet indicates that Allen might play, but if there is no official announcement made before the one o’clock EST games kick-off, fantasy managers may have to have a backup option ready. If Allen does manage to play he is a fine flex play in a nice matchup against Seattle.
