Keenan Allen (heel) ruled out for Week 16

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen has been ruled out for Week 16’s contest with a heel injury, his second missed game in a row.

Fantasy Impact: Allen doesn’t seem particularly close to returning after failing to practice this week, and with the Chargers’ season already out of hand and Easton Stick under center, it’s hard to believe there’s any rush to get the veteran back on the field. Allen was a superstar for fantasy managers, far outperforming his ADP, but he may be unavailable when managers need him most. The 31-year-old wideout has 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston should continue being the primary receivers.
