The Vikings signed rookie QB Kellen Mond to a four-year, $5.2 million contract on Monday.
Fantasy Impact: Mond was selected in the third round, 66th overall by the Vikings in the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s expected to serve as the backup QB behind Kirk Cousins. The 21-year-old QB threw 19 touchdowns with three interceptions in his senior year at Texas A&M. Mond is considered a dual-threat but will only have fantasy appeal if Cousins were to miss any time in 2021. The Vikings rookie QB is mainly a dynasty stash for now.
