Kendre Miller expected to miss season opener

Kendre Miller is not expected to play in the Saints season opener against the Titans. The rookie is dealing with a hamstring injury and will have to wait to make his NFL debut.

Jamaal Williams will now operate as the Saints’ feature back against a Titans defense that was tough to run on last season. Williams faces little competition for touches with Miller out, as Kirk Merritt is the only other running back listed on the team’s current depth chart.
