Kenneth Gainwell (ribs) officially ruled out for TNF

Eagles’ RB Kenneth Gainwell, who was considered unlikely to suit up for the team’s home opener on Thursday due to a rib injury, has been officially ruled out.

Fantasy Impact: Gainwell was the Eagles’ go-to back in their Week 1 win in New England, but it seems any momentum for Gainwell as the starter will be paused as he is slated to miss time. In his absence, D’Andre Swift should see an increased role, as well as Rashaad Penny and Boston Scott.
