According to Mike Kaye of ProFootballNetwork, WR Kenny Golladay still has no connection with New York Giants QB Daniel Jones.
Fantasy Impact: Golladay was brought in to be Jones’ new weapon during the 2021 NFL offseason, but despite making WR1 money, Golladay was unable to deliver all season. He finished the year with no touchdowns and just 37 catches for 521 yards. Golladay looked like a high-level fantasy WR in Detroit alongside QB Matthew Stafford over a three-year stretch, but with Jones, there “clearly isn’t a connection.” It goes both ways, Golladay with drops and Jones with inaccuracy. Both players have their backs against the wall in New York in 2022 and could find themselves in new situations next season if things don’t improve. Golladay goes on average as the WR60 in PPR formats, according to FantasyPros, likely too low if he pans out but likely too high if he doesn’t.
