Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that Lions WR Kenny Golladay is a “strong” possibility for the franchise tag.
Fantasy Impact: Golladay is an impending free agent this offseason, but Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that WR Kenny Golladay is a strong possibility for the franchise tag. “I’ll be very surprised if he’s actually available,” Rapoport said. Golladay was limited to just five games in 2020 due to a nagging hip injury. The Lions will most likely place the franchise tag on Golladay for 2021 and hope to re-sign him to a long-term deal in the near future. Golladay hauled in 20 receptions on 32 targets for 338 yards and two touchdowns in 2020. The 27-year-old is currently 14th among all wideouts in the latest expert consensus draft rankings for 2021.
