The New Orleans Saints have elevated WR Kenny Stills from the practice squad to the game day active roster for Sunday against the New England Patriots.Â
Fantasy Impact: Stills’ elevation suggests that New Orleans could be making changes to their receiver corps for Sunday’s game. The Saints have carried just five receivers on the active roster with Tre’Quan Smith on the injured reserve. Meaning a healthy scratch from Marquez Callaway, Deonte Harris, Chris Hogan, Lil’Jordan Humphrey or Ty Montgomery, who have combined for just 164 yards receiving through the first two weeks, seems possible. After being drafted by New Orleans in 2013, Stills played in 31 games for the Saints where he had 95 receptions for 1,572 yards and eight touchdowns. More of a veteran presence at this point in his career, reuniting with Sean Payton is never a bad thing.
