Per Bucs head coach Bruce Arians, second-year RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn will have a “breakout year” in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Many were disappointed by Vaughn’s usage or lack thereof during his rookie season in 2020. However, head coach Bruce Arians believes that a breakout for the sophomore RB is coming in 2021. In 2020, Vaughn played in 10 games and had 26 carries for 109 yards and five catches for 34 yards. Unfortunately for fantasy purposes, even though Vaughn has nowhere to go but up, this seems like mostly classic head coach talk. The truth is the Bucs still have both Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette ahead on the depth chart and unless there’s an injury the opportunity will likely not be there for Vaughn to be fantasy relevant.
