Khalil Herbert (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 10 versus the Panthers, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Fantasy Impact: The Bears would need to activate Herbert from IR by 4 p.m. EST on Thursday in order for him to be eligible to play, and it doesn’t appear they’ll do so. If confirmed, the Bears would enter Week 10 with a backfield headlined by D’Onta Foreman and Roschon Johnson. Given Carolina’s suspect play all around (including on defense), Foreman could be worth starting as an RB3/FLEX.
