Vikings QB Kirk Cousins completed 25-of-34 passes for 275 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in Minnesota’s Week 5 win over Detroit. He added one carry for four yards.
Fantasy Impact: Cousins has been held to two total touchdowns in the last two weeks, after throwing eight touchdowns through the first three weeks of the season. He did engineer the game-winning drive with just 33 seconds left, as he completed a pair of passes to Adam Thielen to get the Vikings in field goal range. Cousins will have a much more difficult matchup in Week 6 when the Vikings travel to Charlotte to take on a strong Panthers’ secondary. Fantasy managers should view him as a QB2 for that one.
