After an initial report said Houston Texans coach Lovie Smith stated that QB Kyle Allen missed Thursday’s practice for personal reasons, new reports from Mark Berman of Fox 26 say that Allen tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play Saturday.
Fantasy Impact: Allen’s absence will likely mean that QB Jeff Driskel will get the majority of the snaps on Saturday since the Texans only have three quarterbacks on the roster. Allen signed a one-year deal with Houston, but he may not get to play until preseason Week 2.
