According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens are officially placing the non-exclusive franchise tag on QB Lamar Jackson.
Fantasy Impact: Because the Ravens opted for the non-exclusive tag, the former MVP has the option to talk to other teams and come to terms on a deal essentially as a restricted free agent. The Ravens will have the option to either match the other team’s offer or receive two first-round picks in compensation. Jackson can explore his market with other suitors and it will lie on the Ravens whether or not they choose to retain him.
