Free agent defensive back Lemarcus Joyner agreed to a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the New York Jets, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Fantasy Impact: Joyner spent the previous two seasons with the Raiders, where he primarily played nickel in Paul Guenther’s scheme. He’ll move to safety under new Jets’ coach Robert Salah. The former Florida State Seminole has recorded 417 tackles and four interceptions over his seven-year career.
