Latavius Murray, who the Broncos added off of the Saints practice squad, is not expected to be ready to suit up for Thursday’s game. Ian Rappaport expects the veteran RB to be ready to make a Week 6 debut versus the Chargers.
Fantasy Impact: Murray had a very impressive showing in Week 4 as a member of the Saints, filling in nicely for the team while Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram dealt with injuries. Now in the wake of Javonte Williams’s torn ACL, the Broncos added the long-time vet to their roster, but he is not quite ready to play Thursday, leaving Melvin Gordon and Mike Boone to carry the load for Denver. Murray may be worth a roster spot considering Gordon, who is presumed to be the new lead back, has not shown good ball security all season.
