New Orleans Saints RB Latavius Murray will be competing for the final RB roster position on the Saints, per Larry Holder of the Athletic.
Fantasy Impact: Murray is entering his age 31 season, which is when RBs start to face decline. He’s played well in the Mark Ingram role behind Alvin Kamara. He had 656 yards and six TDs last season. The Saints signed Devonta Freeman earlier in camp, and rookie undrafted free agent RB Tony Jones Jr. has been impressive in practice. Murray and Freeman will battle to determine who is the better early-down runner for the Saints.
