Laviska Shenault Jr. caught his only target of the night for six yards in Jacksonville’s 16-15 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact: Despite the one target and being WR4 on Jacksonville’s depth chart, Shenault has reportedly shined in training camp and the Jags are said to plan on scheming plays, both in the passing and rushing game, especially for the third-year receiver. The Jaguars must want these schemed plays to be top secret because we haven’t seen anything from Shenault in preseason game action. Shenault finished last season with 63 receptions for 619 yards but disappeared for games at a time and became impossible to trust down the stretch. Shenault carries late-round and deep league value because of his versatility and his team’s desire to get him involved, including as a punt returner, despite his depth chart status.
