Free-agent veteran running back Leonard Fournette is working out for the New England Patriots according to Tom Pelissero.
Fantasy Impact: Fournette is coming off a disappointing 2022 campaign in which the veteran averaged just 3.5 yards per carry for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New England’s backfield is far from certain behind No. 1 running back Rhamondre Stevenson however, offering Fournette a potential opportunity as a veteran pass-catching option out of the backfield for head coach Bill Belichick if the two sides were able to come to an agreement.
