The Washington Commanders have moved TE Logan Thomas to the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from last season’s ACL injury.
Fantasy Impact: Thomas tore his ACL in December of 2021, making a recovery for the 2022 season a quick one. In Washington, Thomas has seen success so far as a QB-to-TE convert. In 2020, he had 670 yards and six touchdowns, finishing as the fantasy TE7 on the season. In 2021, Thomas seemed to be on pace for similar numbers before the injury. Even on the wrong side of 30, Thomas could still be a solid TE option if healthy with QB Carson Wentz now in charge, a QB who helped make two fantasy-relevant TEs in Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert. He is currently being drafted as the TE23 in PPR formats, according to FantasyPros.
