Mac Jones looked solid against the New York Jets on Sunday, completing 23 of 27 passes (85 percent) for 246 yards and zero interceptions. On a negative note, though, he finished the day with zero touchdowns and six sacks.
Fantasy Impact: Jones’ inability to lead the Patriots to the end zone was unfortunate, not to mention the fact that he was sacked six times. However, a lot of blame can be placed on the Patriots’ offensive line, which lost both David Andrews and Isaiah Wynn to injuries early in the contest. Jones will hope to have some more protection in front of him when the Patriots face the Vikings on Thursday.
