Former Indianapolis Colts safety Malik Hooker has signed with the Dallas Cowboys per Adam Schefter. He was a first-round draft choice out of The Ohio State University back in 2017.
Fantasy Impact: Hooker is coming off of a torn Achilles tendon, which limited him to just two games last season. Injuries have plagued the former first-rounder throughout his career as he’s played in just 36 games over the last four years. He’s still just 25-years-old and was healthy enough to pass all of his medical tests with the Cowboys. This is a savvy, low-risk signing by Dallas. Hooker should compete for a starting role in the defensive backfield.
