Malik Willis struggled behind center in his first career start for the Titans Sunday, completing six of 10 pass attempts for 55 yards and one interception while also rushing five times for 12 yards in the Titans’ 17-10 Week 8 win over the Texans.
Fantasy Impact: Willis benefited from a strong Tennessee rushing attack that saw Derrick Henry and Dontrell Hilliard rush for a combined 302 yards on 40 carries and two touchdowns on the day. The rookie signal caller will have to be more efficient if QB Ryan Tannehill is unable to play in a tough Week 9 road contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Willis gets another start, he still falls into the QB2 range due to the potential rushing output that could be displayed.
