Marcus Mariota completed 6 of his 10 pass attempts for 132 yards and one touchdown in Monday night’s preseason loss to the Jets.
Fantasy Impact: Mariota posted a strong showing in the Falcons’ second preseason game, connecting with Kyle Pitts for a 52-yard gain and finding a wide-open Anthony Firkser for 39 yards. He additionally tossed a 13-yard score to Olamide Zaccheaus a few plays later. Mariota played his final drive late in the first frame, finishing with a sparkling 137.5 QB rating. While rookie Desmond Ridder has continued to produce when on the field, it is very difficult to envision him starting over Mariota in Week 1.
