Marcus Mariota completed 14 of his 25 pass attempts for 147 yards and one touchdown in Atlanta’s Week 5 defeat to Tampa Bay. He added seven carries for 61 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Mariota and the Falcons were held scoreless through the first three quarters, though finally turned it on in the fourth frame to put up 15 points, nearly mounting an impressive comeback. He was held to under 150 yards for the second consecutive game and sacked a season-high five times. On the bright side, he produced 61 yards on the ground to cap off a respectable fantasy performance. Things won’t get any easier against a stout 49ers defense for Week 6, where Mariota should be considered at most a low-end QB2 for that one.
