Marcus Mariota completed 19 of his 30 pass attempts for 186 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in Atlanta’s Week 10 defeat to Carolina. He added three carries for 43 yards.
Fantasy Impact: While Mariota compiled a respectable fantasy performance, he made many ill-advised throws throughout the night, including a pass that could’ve easily resulted in a pick-six. He recorded 83 of his 186 passing yards and a score on a single drive in the final frame, but was otherwise held in check for most of the game. In addition, he was sacked a season-high five times, as the Panthers defense was clearly locked in tonight after an embarrassing loss the previous week. Mariota and the Falcons will likely be in for a bounce-back performance versus the lowly Bears in Week 11, though fantasy managers should consider him a borderline QB2 for that one.
