The New England Patriots have released wide receiver Marqise Lee, according to ESPN NFL insider Field Yates.
Fantasy Impact: Lee opted out of the 2020 season and played in just six games for the Jaguars in 2019 after tearing his ACL in 2018. He reportedly intends to play in 2021 but hasn’t been a productive wide receiver in the NFL since 2017 and turns 30 in November. With a deep wide receiver class in this year’s NFL Draft and the wide receiver market already moving slowly in free agency, Lee isn’t likely to find an abundance of suitors on the open market.
