Saints’ WR Marquez Callaway caught his lone target for a gain of 19 yards in Saturday’s preseason loss to the Texans.
Fantasy Impact: This was Callaway’s first game back, since undergoing thumb surgery, and while he didn’t play much, he looked both confident and healthy. Last season Callaway led the Saints’ WR corps hauling in 46 passes for 698 yards and six touchdowns, but was only good enough to finish as fantasy football’s WR43. Now, heading into a 2022 season where the Saints feature one of the more talented WR rooms in the league, Callaway is expected to take a huge step in the wrong direction. Callaway can be left on waivers in redraft fantasy leagues, but still offers upside in dynasty due to the age of Jarvis Landry.
