Matt Barkley placed on injured reserve

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, veteran QB Matt Barkley was placed on injured reserve, effectively ending his 2023 season.

Fantasy Impact: Barkley suffered an elbow injury a week ago that held him out of practice. He didn’t play in the Bills’ preseason finale, paving the way for backup QB Kyle Allen to get 34 pass attempts against the Bears. Barkley will be out for the year and the Bills may explore their options to add another backup/veteran QB.
