Matthew Stafford, who has agreed to part way with the ions via trade, is not getting as much interest as expected a day into the team’s push for a trade, per Mike Florio with Pro Football Talk.
Fantasy Impact: As of now, only 10 teams in the league have reached out to the Lions regarding their 32-year-old veteran quarterback. Stafford still has two years left on his contract that will hit a team’s cap for $59M. Although the list of interested teams hasn’t been revealed, there are absolutely more than 10 teams that could use the veteran’s presence. Stafford played through a handful of injuries in 2020 but still suited up for all 16 games, recording 4,084 yards and 26 touchdowns while completing 64.2% of his attempts.
