Melvin Gordon III expected to be added to Ravens’ active roster

Melvin Gordon III is expected to be added to Baltimore’s active roster from the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact: Baltimore planned on using J.K. Dobbins as their starter this year, but he suffered a torn achilles in Sunday’s game and will miss the rest of the season. The team will promote Gordon to the active roster as a result to try and account for the lost production. The veteran will get work and play a role in this offense, but at this point in his career, it seems unlikely that he can beat out the other RBs in this backfield to become the bellcow.
