Michael Carter leaves fantasy managers wanting more despite finding the end zone for the first time.
Fantasy Impact: Carter managed to find pay dirt from 13 yards out for his first touchdown in the NFL. Despite the touchdown, Carter scored only 9.8 fantasy points, a disappointing outcome. The rookie managed only 38 scrimmage yards, all of which were gained on the ground. While the former Tar Heel was the lead rusher for the Jets, fantasy managers will be disappointed to see he did not receive a single target in the passing while fellow running backs, Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman, both received two targets apiece. Carter should absolutely be on fantasy benches, but he’s not yet consistent enough to be starting except in deeper leagues.
