Michael Carter rushed for 10 yards on four carries and caught 1-of-2 targets for 10 yards while losing a fumble in the Jets’ 31-27 win against the Giants in Sunday’s preseason finale.
Fantasy Impact: Carter split carries with Breece Hall in the first half and his most memorable plays were successfully fighting for a first down before then losing a fumble and being the intended target on Joe Flacco’s pick-six. Carter will begin the season splitting carries with Hall but will have his work cut out for him to not let the rookie take over the backfield. Carter should be drafted as a fantasy manager’s RB1 or RB2 but could be a good mid-to-late round pick, if available.
