Michael Carter rushed 39 yards on 11 carries and caught 1-of-2 targets for an additional seven yards in New York’s 27-12 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Carter led the New York backfield in carries but only saw two targets on Sunday. The Jets failed to sustain drives on Sunday and fell behind from the Bengals’ opening drive so there wasn’t a lot of ground work (or offensive plays for that matter) to go around. As long as Carter and Breece Hall continue to split duties in the backfield, Carter will continue to be boom or bust, especially when Hall takes the lion’s share of targets.
