According to Cameron Wolfe, Michael Gallup has agreed to a five-year, $62.5 million contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact: After trading Amari Cooper and his $20 million cap hit till 2024, the Cowboys came to terms with soon-to-be free agency, Michael Gallup. The 26-year-old agreed to terms on a five-year, $62.5 million extension to stay in Dallas. The veteran was set to be a trendy WR target in a dry WR market but will stay in Dallas as the number two in the offense behind CeeDee Lamb. With Amari Cooper vacating 104 targets last season, Gallup seems in line to produce WR2 numbers in fantasy this season and could potentially push Lamb as the WR1 in the offense.
