Saints WR Michael Thomas was seen being escorted from his home by the Kenner Police Department after an altercation with another individual, according to local witnesses who spoke to WDSU News in New Orleans. Thomas is rumored to have thrown two bricks at the individual’s truck before pushing him and slapping a phone out of his hand. A Saints spokesman told team reporters, “We are aware of the incident and are gathering information.”
Fantasy Impact: There is a lot of unknown here, so it’s difficult to speculate on any potential fantasy impact. Even if Thomas was indeed arrested, we don’t know if that will impact his availability for Week 10. The team acknowledging the incident lends it credence, however. Thomas is currently WR39 in Week 10 ECR, and he’s coming off a game in which he failed to catch a pass on one target. Through nine games, he has caught 38 of his 62 targets for 439 yards and one touchdown. If Thomas is held out for Week 10, it could mean more targets for Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed and more playing time for A.T. Perry and Lynn Bowden Jr.
