The Chicago Bears are releasing QB Nathan Peterman ahead of their Thursday night matchup, leaving them with two signal callers on their active roster.
Fantasy Impact: Reports came out recently that QB Tyson Bagent had won the QB2 job, which was also the belief post-preseason. Peterman has been released three times by the Bears in the last month and a half, meaning he’s been the one to get cut when the team needs to do roster gymnastics – this time so the Bears can activate OL Teven Jenkins. It’s possible he will re-sign later or sign with the practice squad soon.
