According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Chicago Bears are releasing QB Nathan Peterman with the intention of bringing him back on the practice squad.
Fantasy Impact: Peterman, formerly of the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders did not make it as QB Justin Fields’ active backup, losing the job to Trevor Siemian. Peterman has suited up for 10 games in his four years in the NFL, starting four of them. The Bears plan on keeping him as QB depth on the practice squad.
