Las Vegas Raiders WR Nelson Agholor is at the end of his one-year contract but according to Raiders’ GM Mike Mayock, the Raiders “would love” to bring the wideout back in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Agholor exceeded expectations in his first year with the Raiders, hauling in 48 receptions for 896 yards and eight touchdowns across all 16 games in 2020. His speed attributed to the success of the Raiders offense in 2020, spreading the field and making it easier for quarterback Derek Carr to operate. Mayock went on to say, “We’d love to have Nelly (Agholor) back. That’s a guy that I can’t tell you how much appreciation I have for.” After being ridiculed for multiple dropped passes while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles back in the 2019 season, Agholor proved he can be a team’s WR1. The wideout will hit the free-agent market if he is unable or unwilling to sign a new contract with Las Vegas in 2021. Should he re-sign with the Raiders, Agholor will continue competing for targets with star tight-end Darren Waller and the young but athletic Henry Ruggs III in 2021, limiting his fantasy upside but remaining a solid WR3/Flex option in PPR formats.
