According to Ian Rapoport, Nick Bosa, who has been seeking a new contract this offseason, has not joined the 49ers’ team meetings, and his status for Week 1 against the Steelers is still unclear.
Fantasy Impact: Nick Bosa was hoping for a new deal coming off a 2022 campaign that saw him secure his first DPOY award and his first-team all-pro bid. The 49ers have been a different team with Bosa on the field, and since drafting him in 2019, the team is 37-14 with him in the lineup and just 5-10 with him out of the lineup. If Bosa’s ability to wreck a game is out of the lineup, it is fair to give a slight boost to all Steelers’ fantasy options in Week 1 and decrease the usefulness of the 49ers defense as a high-end fantasy starter.
