Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb will need a second surgery to repair his ACL, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter, after doctors found an ACL tear while addressing his MCL tear. He is expected to return during the 2024 season.
Fantasy Impact: A couple key pieces of information can be gathered from this report. For starters, Chubb did in fact suffer a multi-ligament tear, which tend to be much harder to come back from than singular tears. As well, this pushes his timetable back just a bit further, making it more likely that Chubb will not be ready in time for the 2024 season, which will make his ADP next season tricky to navigate. Until then, Jerome Ford is in charge of the Browns’ backfield.
