The New England Patriots are trading former first-round WR N’Keal Harry to the Chicago Bears for a 7th-round pick in 2024, per Mike Garofolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Fantasy Impact: According to the report, Harry preferred a fresh start and he will now get it in Chicago. The wideout was drafted by the New England Patriots in the first round, 32nd overall in the 2019 draft. Harry showed promise coming out of Arizona State where he had over 2,000 yards and 22 touchdowns but his game never really translated to the NFL at a high level. With the current state of the Chicago Bears wide receiver room, the former first-round pick should get plenty of opportunities to earn playing time and his 6’4″ frame could give Justin Fields a big athletic target. This is an upside pick for Chicago but not necessarily for fantasy purposes. At this point, fantasy managers shouldn’t consider Harry much more than an end-of-the-bench stash even in the deepest of leagues until proven otherwise. Harry finished with 12 receptions for 184 yards and no touchdowns in 12 games in 2021 for the Patriots.
