Baltimore Ravens veteran FB Patrick Ricard will begin July’s training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list following offseason hip surgery.
Fantasy Impact: Ricard will still count against the team’s roster spots but can be removed at any time. He will also be allowed to participate with the team but cannot practice. Ricard is one of the league’s best run-blocking FBs and is an important part of what made the Ravens a successful rushing attack for years. At 29, he enters his seventh season in the NFL and could see a potential role change under Baltimore’s new offensive coordinator, making his offseason role important for the Ravens.
