Peyton Barber had 23 carries on Sunday, totalling 111 yards on the ground and a score. He also saw an uptick in the passing game, catching three of his five targets for 31 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Barber had a prime matchup against the Dolphins in Week 3 and took advantage of it. He took off for some long runs and really helped the Raiders offense get on track in the first half after a pick-six in the first quarter. As mentioned above, Barber also saw some passing work in this one, something he wasn’t involved with at all in Week 2. With his teammate Kenyan Drake in the dog house for missing a pass block assignment, Barber may continue to have a role in the offense in Week 4. Fantasy managers will obviously have to continue monitoring the health of starting running back Josh Jacobs, but if Jacobs isn’t good to go, Barber looks primed for another good game in a great matchup against the porous Chargers run defense.
