The Philadelphia Eagles have dismissed Doug Pederson of his duties as head coach.
Fantasy Impact: After a tumultuous 2020 season that ended in a 4-11-1 record, Eagles brass decided it was best to relieve Doug Pederson of his duties as head coach. Pederson coached the Eagles for the past five seasons, winning Super Bowl LII in 2018. It sounds like GM Howie Roseman and owner Jeffrey Lurie are interested in taking this Eagles team in a different direction starting in 2021, now with a new head coach at the very least. Pederson’s tenure in Philadelphia comes to a close with an overall record of 42-37-1.
