Pierre Strong Jr. traded to Browns

Pierre Strong Jr. has been traded from the New England Patriots to the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Impact: Strong was a fourth-round pick for the Patriots just a season ago, but now they’re shipping him off to Cleveland in exchange for some tackle depth in Tyrone Wheatley Jr. Cleveland likely wants him to play a depth role, especially since backup Jerome Ford is dealing with an injury, so the second-year RB is not likely to get a lot of work this year. This does, however, add some assurance to Nick Chubb’s value for this season. Some fantasy managers feared the team would bring in a big-name back to solidify the room, but this is a small addition and won’t have any kind of a negative impact on Chubb.
