NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting Dolphins WR Preston Williams (foot) is not respected to play in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact: At one time, Williams was thought of as a quality fantasy option with upside. However, that was in the first half of his 2019 rookie campaign. He’s done nothing but battled injuries since. 2020 is no different. Williams has played in a total of 16 games in two seasons. With Will Fuller also out (suspension), the Dolphins will be shorthanded at wide receiver getting a Patriots’ secondary sans Stephon Gilmore. Even without Gilmore, however, Dolphins wideouts are an easy fade in Week 1 if you have better options in fantasy.
